EBR- Grand Opening!

I opened my real estate firm in May 2018 commemorating four years in real estate sales. My talent for sales started when I was just a little kid. My brother and I sold sodas to Masters patrons from a roadside stand. That began my journey to self-employment! I bagged groceries at Winn-Dixie, hosted birthday parties at the Little Gym, sold clothes at Old Navy, served food at restaurants, and even went door to door as an enumerator for the 2010 Census. I went on to a full-time post grad-school position, at Georgia College (GCSU), as a Research Operations Coordinator. This all helped me to realize that I wanted to own my own business.

I come from a long line of business owners starting with my great grandfather down to my dad. My brother went on to start his own business when he was twenty years old, called Eddy Barrett Irrigation, in Augusta. I am proud to follow in my families footsteps to serve the community by selling real estate. This comes with a sense of accomplishment and relief followed by the responsibility of business ownership. My forebears from England, Scotland, and Norway all came to this country as entrepreneurs to start and live the American Dream.

Now, I am happy to announce the opening of EBR, Elisabeth Barrett Realty LLC, with myself as the broker.  We are just beginning and are excited to keep expanding! I am exhilarated about serving my clients and community. We are always thinking about our clients - analyzing their needs and requirements - and closing the deals. This begins with marketing, advertising, getting listings, making contacts, writing contracts, and making the sell! This lifestyle is not for everyone, but it is my passion!

I want to give a special thanks to all my clients for their business without whom none of this would be possible. Thank you to my family and friends for the encouragement along the way from a small roadside soda stand to business owning broker in the Lake Country!
